I hear it all around town - that the weather has gone down the tubes. It's either too cold or rainy. I say, no problem! Cool weather has benefits!
- Perfect weather for cuddling up with a blanket, tea and a good book. Reading or writing the book is optional!
- Perfect for cleaning up inside the house (because when it's nice - cleaning is not on my priority list)
-Wonderful for crafting! As much as I love crafting and scrapping - it isn't an outdoor experience most of the time.
- This is the best time to haul out the crockpot and make soups, stews - and baking is another great option too!
So Mother Nature, bring on the rain, lower temperatures, etc. I know I can't change the weather, so I just work with instead.

Update?
Since my last post on this blog was, oh, March- I feel the need for an update. But, oh what to blog about? How about the insane amount of scrap supplies I have been amassing in my collection. It's bad. Like badder than Michael Jackson bad. It's called the clearance section at Hobby Lobby, plus Michael's sales and all these shiny, pretty new collections coming out! They just suck you in, I tell ya! But, out of adversity comes opportunity. The opportunity to scrap and scrap some more! I am almost done with a book I have been working on FOREVER! (ok about three years, maybe less). But it is almost done - and I feel wonderful! There's another book I am currently working on - just have to finish a few more pages. Then hopefully they will be done in time for the arrival of my latest snapfish order.
But I digress. I am also working on some crafty items so that I may create my own etsy shop. That is so a work in progress. But I am getting there. Stay tuned.

Still not there
Still behind, but I think a big finish will work. Sure it will be stressful, but I can do it. I want to do something way cool with my career, but I'm still not sure what. I am gonna do a big spring cleaning this week, and hopefully get the house in order to where I can work on lots more. Ah, a nice scrap room, clean and organized rooms, a garden to work on and relax in. A sanctuary in every room that is great. Not just working and sleeping, but really getting into stuff again. I have lost focus a lot, but honestly I just need to work a little more on what I want. Weaving time.

It's about 1/2 through the semester...great
And I am sooo behind the ball. Ok. Fine. I have one week before break and in that time I will get my ass moving and get some homework done. I seriously need to work on my survey at least and work on my final paper- also my other class because I'm not really sure what needs to be done. It's ok - I will get it done because I can. I have more of a commitment - at the end of this road begins another - and I will be able to really go after what I want!

Evolution
Am I evolving? Do I continuously seek to improve, only to get stuck in a rut or with no gumption of moving forward? I have this fear of not having control and taking that big leap into the unknown. A big part is that I would like funds to count on with which to pay my bills and stuff, and also to have health insurance (it's kind of necessary). I want so much more from my life, but I never know how to get there or even what to do sometimes. So here's my deal. I think I will start a blog about a specific interest that I want to pursue. If anything just to generate some ideas and, heck, maybe even get some followers! But I'm exhausted. Time for bed. Work in the morning, and the weekend is almost here.

New Beginnings
2011 is seriously getting off to a great start. One month and I have a new job that I love, a 2-10 minute commute (depending if I drive or walk respectively) and my last semester of grad school has started. Some other stuff is in the works, but I am now trying to rehaul (again) my scrapbook area and get things ready for something else.....details later. Since I slept in till 1pm today, I think I will just work on the scrap area after lunch and get it all set up. That way it is all organized for when we decide to do the complete rehaul of it with NEW furniture and stuff! I will probably scrap a little tonight too - who knows. Nothing serious to accomplish, although I will probably be scholarly and read a journal article or two to get moving on my classwork. Working full time = making time to do schoolwork, so I don't have to pull ridiculous all nighters. That's about it...I smell lunch coming.

Week 2; work
Another good day at the new job..this week again is lots of training. Usually training bores the heck out of me but I am really trying to absorb as much as possible. It will all take time to sink in, but considering the added responsibility, I really want to get a good handle on this.
Hey, Sue...you are blog-slacking...and yours is one of my favorites!
I would write more but my tummy is rumbling seriously....need input.
